NEW ORLEANS - Personal Project
JULY 14-16, 2019
If you know me, you know I love Nola. I especially love early morning photo walks around the city, particularly in the French Quarter. The architecture itself is a big enough draw to want to shoot, but the people and overall vibe of the city is unparalleled anywhere. These black and white shots were made with my Fuji X100s. I love to dust off this little camera for Nola visits. It'll fit in my pocket, is silent, and is perfect for touring the city.
Hurricane Barry threatened this trip in a big way, but wound up being a non-factor. That was a relief, since the main objective of this little jaunt was to take my 16 year old son to see The Rolling Stones. Mick and the boys did not disappoint. Fun trip. Concert photo made with iPhone XS Max.
